Who will be on the group trips?
I will be on all the trips and many times we will be accompanied by one of my friends who is well knowledgeable in the destination we are traveling to so we can benefit from local knowledge and networks.

Can I join a trip if I’m a solo traveler?
Absolutely! Our trips are perfect for solo traveler’s looking to meet like-minded people and have an unforgettable adventure.

How do I book a trip with Beyond Borders?
To book a trip simply fill out the trip submission form at the bottom of the page of the trip which you would like to be considered for. If successful I’ll then get in touch with you providing you more details about the trip and information on how to pay the deposite to confirm your spot.

What if I have to cancel my participation of a trip?
For cancellations made 3 months or more prior to the trip departure date, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.
If you cancel between 2 months and 3 weeks before the trip start date, you will receive a refund of all payments made, except for the non-refundable deposit amount.
Cancellations made less than 3 weeks before the scheduled trip departure are non-refundable. At this stage, we have already secured bookings and vendor contracts based on the committed number of travelers, and unfortunately cannot issue any refunds.
It’s recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment in case you need to cancel for covered reasons closer to the departure date.

How do you ensure safety and security during your trips?
Your safety is the top priority. We vet and partner with experienced, reputable local guides and operators who have extensive knowledge of the areas we visit. We monitor travel advisories closely and I will provide you with mine and any other trip leaders contact numbers. It is also a requirement that all participants have travel insurance to ensure you are covered in case of any unexpected situations.

What if I hurt myself on the trip?
Beyond Borders does not provide travel insurance coverage for participants. It is strongly recommend to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy to protect yourself against unforeseen circumstances during your trip. Travel insurance can provide coverage for trip cancellations, medical emergencies, lost or delayed baggage, and other travel-related incidents.

What should I pack for my trip?
The packing list will vary depending on your specific trip, but it’s generally recommend packing light with versatile, weather-appropriate clothing. Comfortable walking shoes, activewear for activities, swimwear, insect repellent, sunscreen, hat, and any necessary medications are must-haves. A detailed packing guide will be provided upon booking tailored to your destination.
